We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.

Our Mission

We live in a world where we have to be reminded how powerful we are. We
are a group of women who have linked arms with the purpose of uplifting, encouraging, and inspiring women of all walks of life to be STRONG & BRAVE by understanding their identity & BEAUTIFUL worth!

Though there are many aspects to growth, we know that personal development is an important key in overcoming our struggles, embracing our differences, and stepping into our strengths. We can't think of a better way to do that very thing than in a safe environment of like-minded individuals to show love and support.

A Letter From Our Founder

I've never been good at keeping my opinions to myself. I remember the only physical altercation I have ever had was in middle school. This bully was making fun of a sweet girl, and I couldn't let it go on... 😠 so I said something...and it went downhill from there…🀷🏻‍β™€οΈπŸ˜˜

Since then, I have grown into a woman who still can't keep her mouth shut 🀦🏻‍♀️ and whose fierce loyalty and protectiveness of those I care for most has only deepened. Personal development and growth has been at the forefront of my mind for as long as I can remember; I just didn't call it that at the time.

My whole life I have gathered a tribe of incredible misfits to surround myself with who are the most caring and accepting people I know. When I was 16 I noticed the first need to bring together women with the purpose of allowing them to uplift each other.

At my church, there were a group of wonderful girls feeling out of place and bullied in their lives and it was breaking my heart. I started a "club" to give them a safe place to share their feelings and to grow their confidence. To date, those "meetings" are still some of my fondest memories because of the breakthroughs and love we shared.

I eventually left for college and got two degrees, one in theatrical design and arts management, and another in film. 🎭 🎬 This was where I was first faced with the extreme power of personal development. I had the privilege of watching my very talented friends put themselves through audition after audition, and rejection after rejection, and they would still walk out of each experience with an air of determination and grit surrounding them. They HAD to tell themselves everyday how amazing they were and use their own determination to cloud out the negativity around them. I was blown away because I felt I could never be that strong! During this time I also witnessed the light being extinguished within the hearts of so many others by judgment and shame: too ugly, wrong religion, too loud, too shy, misunderstood, gay, straight, white, black, single, married, poor, rich, too much makeup, no enough makeup, and on and on and on.

In our own attempt to understand our own guilt and shame for ourselves,

we project that outwards to others and often don't realize the

damage that it's doing to both parties. ✨

Fast forward 10+ years, (a corporate career in entertainment and event planning; meeting my entrepreneurial and growth minded husband who inspired me to live the idea that I could do anything I set my mind to; launching my businesses; and loads of life lessons, failures and successes) the need for a safe space for women to share their feelings, grow in their confidence, and uplift each other is just as relevant today as it was when I was a lost 16 year old trying to inspire those around me.πŸ›πŸ¦‹πŸ’ƒπŸΌπŸ‘―‍♀️

Today I work with a large team of women and men to help them achieve their dreams. One night I was praying for a way to help them grow in their potential because I feel so much responsibility and passion to help them understand their worth. Women Enlightened and the vision for what it would grow into was a complete inspirational download from above. It took over a year of prayer, personal development, and a splash of faith before I took the plunge and founded it. Since then, I can't event describe the beautiful way that our whole team at Life Moments (my event planning company), my business partners with The Butterfly Campaign, and friends and family have embraced the idea and helped me run with it. πŸ™πŸΌπŸŒŠπŸŠπŸ»‍♀️

A huge thank you to Janessa, our General Manager, and Julia, our Events Coordinator, who have put in countless hours of their personal time, with little to no pay, to make this inspiration a reality.πŸ’‘πŸ”†

This is just the beginning for us.

We are on a mission to make sure that as many women

as possible have the opportunity to know and understand

their worth and then to pay that forward to those around them!

We are on a mission to help women wake up everyday...

NOT just saying...but BELIEVING the words:

"I am enough!”

Your power is already within you. We unfortunately live in a world where people need to be

reminded how powerful they are, especially women. Thank you for letting me and Women

Enlightened be a small part of your journey towards discovering your own power. πŸš€
